Thanksgiving

What do you do in Paris when you have an American craving? No, I'm not talking about going to McDonald (Mcdo in French). No, I'm talking about the taste of homemade goodness! Well you stop by Thanksgiving, the cutest Yankee shop in Paris. Now this is an emergency stop only because it's a bit overpriced. And when I say a bit, I mean far from the deals at Walmart. You can also order online.

Of course, Scott could not wait, he is running to the store!

L'Ile de la Jatte

Métro: station Pont de Levallois Bécon ( ligne 3)
 Départment: 92 (Ile De France)
 Cost: Free

It's a lovely walk on this mini island. You have a great view on La Défense and I love all the boats. There are also a residential area where you can dream of owning an apartment with a view as well as a few cafés and restaurants. You can follow the trail of the Impressionists where you can see where Monet, Sisley or even Van Gogh painted some of their work.

This place is amazing even in the winter. The downside is that most of the fountains are not running in the middle of the winter but with spring coming back, they should be back to their full glory. It used to be the property of the brother of Louis XIV. Unfortunately, the castle burned but the park gives you a glimpse of how beautiful this place must have been.

No my friends, this is not the castle, it's just "pavillon des écuries" which used to be the stalls but now is a museum. Yeah, I know it was a ruff life for the royal horses.

A little coffee Shop in the middle of the park, which is so adorable but it was not warm enough to be using one of these chairs so we kept on moving.
