Nothing like a beautiful day in the park. We found a little gem not long ago: Albert Kahn Garden and Museum. It's pretty cheap : 3 euros or you can go in for free on the first Sunday of the month. I love the concept: having the best of everything. I love that. I'm all about that. So you can enjoy the Japanese style garden, the British one or even a French one. Walk in the manicured roseraie or the wild woods.

It has a very cool green house. You can not go in but you can sure peak inside! I wouldn't mind having one myself. We went early spring when all the tulips were out but I really want to return later this summer for the roses.

It's also kids friendly. They were feeding the fish and even trying to touch them and when I say them I really mean I tried to touch them. Sitting by the water in the shades of the bamboos: that is life!

There is something really cool about the Pantheon. I feel like I just traveled to Rome on a budget! It's huge and so majestic. This building is full of light which for French buildings is a change. Some parts are being renovated but it almost was not noticeable.

Well, when I said light, I meant until you go visit the crypt that is. But the crypt is one of the biggest I have ever seen. You can find the tomb of all the best of the best minds and talents of France: Victor Hugo; Zola, Voltaire, Rousseau, Alexandre Dumas, Jean Moulin, Pierre and Marie Curie... just to name a few! I usually don't like paying to see things in Paris but I have to say it was money well spent.

 

Thanksgiving

What do you do in Paris when you have an American craving? No, I'm not talking about going to McDonald (Mcdo in French). No, I'm talking about the taste of homemade goodness! Well you stop by Thanksgiving, the cutest Yankee shop in Paris. Now this is an emergency stop only because it's a bit overpriced. And when I say a bit, I mean far from the deals at Walmart. You can also order online.

Of course, Scott could not wait, he is running to the store!
