Like a UFO in an old town, everything about Cité de la Mode et du Design is green and out of place. And yet, it remains so intriguing and hip. It houses a school (of duh, fashion and design), and a bunch a super trendy shops, galleries and restaurants (Find them HERE).

Mostly, it was a bit dead at noon because "cool" people live it up at night with the rooftop dance floor. But since, we're a bit crazy, it did not bother us at all because we like it less crowded. Yep, that's how I roll! We enjoyed looking at the outdoor exhibit, trying to figure out what was "art" and got overdosed on green. We found an old photobooth, you know those black and white photobooth which does not warn you when it takes a picture and comes out blurry? Love those babies, and I thought they were extinct. I almost cried when I saw it there, waiting for me to give it 2 euros for 4 crazy shots!

Rooftop is cool when you work in the area. Nice place to take a nap during your lunch break. It was a fun experience but I don't think I'd come back unless it was for a night out.
